Jerome Tucker live at The Second Wedge
September 4 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
Jerome Tucker and his Band will be heating things up with a Saturday evening, Labour Day-weekend show in our beer garden!
Jerome Tucker is undoubtedly the funkiest and most versatile bass player, singer and band leader in the Toronto area. From the Philadelphia area, as a youngster he joined the US Navy which allowed him to travel and play with various blues, funk, rock and R&B artists around the world including co-writing with Ivan Neville in New Orleans. After the Navy he moved to Chicago, where he played with the Larry McCray Band, Otis Rush, Eddie Clearwater, Phil Guy, Dickey Betts (Allman Bros), Byther Smith, Kenny Neal, Lonnie Brooks and practically every major blues artist on the festival scene – too many to name.
All shows will be outdoors in our partly sheltered beer garden, rain or shine. In the case of stormy weather, we’ll bring shows indoors. Seating is first come, first served. Masks are mandatory indoors. Shows are free for paying customers, but artist tips are very welcome!
