Mattie Leon (solo) live at The Second Wedge

We’re welcoming back Hamilton-based fave Mattie Leon, with a solo afternoon set.

Mattie Leon is a craftsman on guitar and piano, with sensibilities informed by the songwriting of the sixties and seventies. Along with his soaring and soulful voice, his music is a fresh take on a classic form; familiar but unmistakably new.

Mattie’s latest release, Taking Our Time Growing Up, is a joyous piano rocker about his 4 years at Penn State University on a golf scholarship. Self produced in Hamilton, Ontario, the song features bandmates Mike Leon & Nelson Sobral.
