What happens when intuition meets impulse and two artists decide to build a world instead of a brand? You get Arturns Vol. 1
—a body of work that feels like urban foraging through memory, mood, and material.
Tim&Phil aren’t painting pictures. They’re wiring a nervous system. Found objects and scraps become relics. Graffiti becomes scripture. A doorway, a traffic cone, a plastic sheet—these aren’t props, they’re emotional infrastructure, with a little streetwise Toronto grit thrown in to the mix. It’s chaotic. It’s sacred. It’s hilarious. It’s sad. It’s everything good art should be: uncomfortable in its own skin and proud of it.
You don’t walk through a Tim&Phil installation-you wander, you trip, you pause and suddenly wonder, “Why do I feel like l’ve seen this in a dream?”
This is the art of half-thoughts made whole. Of junk made myth. Of turning corners and finding feelings.
Tim&Phil aren’t playing by the rules. They’re tearing the playbook and gluing it to the wall.
Arturns Vol. 1 is a manifesto disguised as mess. And it’s glorious.
