This informal gathering is open to those aged 19+ interested in starting or maintaining sketching or drawing practice, for fun and creative growth.

Bring your own supplies and sketchbook or surface of your choosing. Drop-ins are welcome!

About your host:
From time to time, John Allen (induna.art) is seen backed into a corner sketching at the Wedge. He’s an avid sketchbook keeper always having several going at any one time. He sees it akin to an artist’s physical training program.

Designing for TV/film & new media demanded him to swap his pens for a mouse, and despite his passion for staying current with the latest digital tools, he maintains the practice of hand sketching for a variety of reasons, not least for the pure joy of it.
